2 arrested after Preble County deputies execute drug-related search warrant

Two people were arrested July 16 after deputies executed a narcotics-related search warrant on New Market-Banta Road after a investigation into suspected trafficking in drugs, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies removed a large amount of evidence including suspected marijuana, supplies consistent with trafficking in marijuana, drug paraphernalia, scales and $6,356 in cash.

Alexander Gregory, 25, and Tiffany Cooper, 24, both live at the residence and have been charged in the Eaton Municipal Court with tampering with evidence, two counts of trafficking in marijuana, and illegal use of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gregory remains in the Preble County Jail where he is also being held on an outstanding felony warrant from Greene County for drug-related charges. Cooper has since posted bail.
