HAMILTON — The third prostitution sting in east Hamilton this year netted six arrests.
Undercover officers from Hamilton, Fairfield and Middletown conducted the sting Tuesday night, Nov. 10, at various locations on the east side, according to police reports.
Arrested for soliciting were:
• James Burks, 40, of 739 East Ave., Hamilton.
• David Griffel, 68, of 1301 Parkway Court, Fairfield.
• John Lock, 32, of 735 Gordon Smith Blvd., Hamilton.
• Stacey Radenheimer, 25, of 834 Campbell Ave., Hamilton.
• Jerry Romine, 34, of 735 Gordon Smith Blvd., Hamilton.
• Theresa Smith, 39, of 111 Lulu Ave., Hamilton.
These people are charged with soliciting sex from male and female officers, for amounts ranging from $20 to $50, according to police.
Smith also was charged with soliciting in an August sting. This is her sixth prostitution-related arrest since 2004, according to police records. This also is the second soliciting arrest for Griffel, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after a 2005 arrest.
And the vice squad keeps visiting the same neighborhoods, according to Hamilton police spokesman Officer Richard Burkhardt.
“For some reason, they keep coming to these spots, so we keep coming back,” Burkhardt said.
