Social worker: Baby has skull fracture, ‘multiple healing rib fractures’

Investigators from the Warren County Sheriff’s office are seeking to learn more about how a baby was injured on Wednesday night in a mobile home park.

At 10:55 p.m., emergency radio communications indicated a 7-month-old boy was taken from the Shadow Lake Mobile Home Village to Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center with a possible skull fracture.

“He has a skull fracture as well as multiple healing rib fractures,” a social worker told a 911 operator.

This morning, Chief Deputy Barry Riley said the case was the subject of “a very active investigation,” but declined to provide any additional information.

The mobile home park is east of Interstate 75 and west Ohio 741 in Turtlecreek Twp.
