Two employees at West Chester Twp. businesses were recently scammed out of $4,000 by people posing as their bosses.
An employee at Rite Track Equipment Services was allegedly scammed out of $2,800 May 25 after she received an email from someone posing as the president of the company asked her to purchase Apple iTunes cards, scratch off the back and send a picture of the codes, according to township spokeswoman Barb Wilson.

The company is located at 8655 Rite Track Way and the incident occurred around noon.
Likewise, an employee at University Moving and Storage allegedly received a phone call from the supposed president of the company, who asked him to buy a dozen $100 iTunes cards and send the codes. Wilson said he is out $1,200.
That company is located at 9507 Park Manor and the incident occurred at around 2:30 May 30.
