A 24-year-old man is in jail today, connected to two burglaries in Dayton.

Kevin Williams is charged with felony burglary, according to jail records.

Williams was arrested inside a house on Arbor Avenue around 10 a.m. Sunday, after a neighbor called police to report she had seen him try to enter the house, according to a police report.

Officers entered the house and heard Williams upstairs. They reportedly handcuffed him in a bedroom and found he had car keys, a knife and a plastic bag containing jewelry, the report states.
The jewelry was connected to another burglary that happened about five blocks away on Fauver Avenue.
