The suspect is described as a white man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt; dark-colored sweatshirt; dark-colored running pants with a white stripe on both legs; and white sunglasses.
A K-9 unit responded, but was not able to find the suspect, according to police.
Springwood Drive, just east of Interstate 75 near West Central Avenue (Ohio 73) was temporarily blocked to traffic by Warren County sheriff's deputies who responded shortly after noon to the bank robbery. Franklin police also assisted in the incident.
On Friday, a Chase Bank branch on Woodman Drive in Kettering was robbed. In that robbery, a suspect, described as a white man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black shorts, red gym shoes and dark sunglasses, passed a note to a teller demanding money and left the bank on foot.
Police have not said whether the Springboro and Kettering bank robberies may be linked.
