“We found 15 dogs in the residence with eight or nine people,” said Miami Twp. Det. Mike Siney. “We did have one dog charge at the team in an aggressive manner twice before he had to be put down.”

Police were able to track the stolen vehicle to the home on Altrim Drive.

People inside the home were detained while police served the search warrant.

One person was taken into custody on an unrelated drug warrant, Siney said.

Crews from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and the Animal Resource Center were also called to the scene.
