Andrew Mays, 45, of Hamilton, told police he wasn’t sure what happened to crash his car, but admitted to paramedics and a police officer to using meth “at some point fairly recently” after he also said “he does not use drugs,” according to a police report.
An officer searched the vehicle and found a clear baggie laying on the center console with a “crystal/rock-like substance.”
Mays was transported to Bethesda Butler Hospital, where he was treated and released.
