Bowman pleaded guilty to complicity to commit aggravated robbery. That robbery was in 2012 at the Parkside Beverage Dock in Greenville.
Bowman also agreed to testify in the upcoming trial of co-defendant Heath Gessler, also of Greenville.
EARLIER REPORT (Sept. 9)
Police arrested two suspects this week accused in a 2012 armed robbery spree.
Evan L. Bowman, 23, and Heath A. Gessler, 29, both of Greenville, were arrested Monday and booked into the Darke County Jail, where they are each being held on suspicion of aggravated robbery, kidnapping and complicity. Bond is $450,000 for Gessler and $300,000 for Bowman, online jail records show.
A recent break in the three-year-old case led detectives to Bowman and Gessler, who admitted to robbing the Flower Patch on Oct. 25, 2012; the former Parkside Beverage Dock on Nov. 1, 2012; and the Fairgrounds Drive-thru on Nov. 13, 2012, according to police.
In each case over the two-week span, a handgun was shown and the clerks were tied up, police said.
Additional charges are pending once the case is presented this month to a county grand jury.
Anyone with additional information about the crimes is urged to call Greenville police at 937-548-1103 or the Darke County CrimeStoppers line, 937-547-1661.
