Gunmen rob Kettering Domino’s, driver

UPDATE @ 4:30 p.m. July 15

Police have released surveillance video today from a Saturday night armed robbery at Domino’s Pizza, 2533 Wilmington Pike.

The two suspects took an undetermined amount of cash from a delivery driver returning to the business. They left in a silver car. Anyone with information or who can identify the suspects from the video are urged to call Detective Mason at 937-296-2583.

FIRST REPORT, July 11

Two gunmen held up Domino’s Pizza and a delivery driver who returned to the store late Saturday during the robbery.

A few minutes before midnight, at 11:55 p.m. two men — one with a black semi-automatic handgun — entered the store at 2533 Wilmington Pike and demanded cash, according to Kettering police.

The robbers were then startled by a driver who returned to the store. The men left the store, but then robbed the delivery driver before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K-9 tracked the suspects to the back of a store on Imperial Boulevard, where police say it appears the men left in a vehicle.

The suspects are described as two black males standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. One man wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and had a white scarf covering his face. The second man wore a white T-shirt and a red bandanna on his head that did not cover his face.

Police said they would review surveillance footage to help identify the suspects. No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
