Deputies have alleged Kennedy shot her husband and have said the shooting might have stemmed from a “domestic type situation.”

The sheriff’s office hasn’t been called to the couple’s home recently but court records show Rosalie Kennedy was charged with domestic violence in 1997. That case was later dismissed.

Gary Kennedy pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct also in 1997.
