According to a Dayton Police incident report, Leo Akpan, 43, called the number police advertised on the site on Wednesday and offered to pay the woman $100 for “everything,” meaning sex.
When Akpan arrived at the apartment she directed him to, he allegedly exposed himself and put $80 on a table as payment.
When police busted in and questioned him, Akpan said he was a pastor and that he had intended to convert the woman so she could join his church.
According to online records, the only church Akpan is associated with is called Glorious Christian Assembly of God. Two different addresses listed for the church are both residential structures in Huber Heights and Englewood.
According to Dayton Municipal Court records, he has been charged with Soliciting, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and possession of criminal tools. According to the police report, Akpan initially resisted being handcuffed during his arrest.
He was released from jail on bond late last week and is scheduled to be arraigned on those charges this afternoon.
