Man charged in Dayton homicide now indicted in 2017 incident

A 26-year old Dayton man charged with murder in a shooting last month now faces charges for an incident that happened last November.

Jamariyo Drane was indicted today on two counts of felonious assault, which carry firearm specifications. He also was indicted on burglary, robbery and having weapons while under disability for a prior offense of violence, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

The charges stem from a Nov. 26, 2017, incident in the 4600 block of Owens Drive in Dayton. According to the indictment, two women are victims in the case.

Drane is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

He remains held on $1 million bond in connection to the Oct. 23 fatal shooting of Calvin C. Tribble, 21, who was found deceased inside a car parked on Wentworth Avenue in Dayton.
