Sgt. Curtis Hensley with the Clearcreek Twp. police department said Best Choice Auto Repair is believed to be the only business broken into, but investigators are checking around to other businesses.
The man faces charges of breaking and entering, receiving stolen property, and fleeing and eluding.
Hensley said the suspect hid in a farm field, and a police K-9 attempted to track the suspect but was unsuccessful. Police were able to make contact with the suspect’s mother, and he agreed to turn himself in.
Nobody was injured.

Clearcreek Township police and deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a pursuit that could be related to multiple business break-ins in Warren County.
According to dispatchers in Warren County, Clearcreek Township police initiated a pursuit in the area of State Route 48 and West Social Row Road after the vehicle reportedly didn’t stop for the officer.
The driver reportedly fled from the vehicle on foot near East Social Row Road and Mt. Holly Avenue in Washington Township in Montgomery County.
Our crew on the scene reports a man is being questioned regarding the pursuit, and police are looking into possible connections to reported break-ins of Warren County businesses on State Route 48.
