Riverside police are looking for the man who robbed the Family Dollar store, 5424 Burkhardt Road, of an undisclosed amount of cash tonight.

Sgt. Angela Jackson said the man was wearing a royal blue hoodie cinched around his face, black pants and black shoes when he walked in just after 7 p.m.

He acted as though he had a gun and demanded cash, the sergeant said.

The lone customer and two employees told police the robber ran out and they last saw him headed east toward Spinning Road.

Sgt. Jackson said the witnesses described the robber as slender and estimated him to be 5 fee 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall.

No one was injured in the robbery, she said.
