Dayton police and medics were called the night of April 23 to a Marathon gas station after a car pulled into the lot with a woman who had been shot.

A woman in the car told police a car driven by Martin pulled up along their right side on Germantown Street, less than a mile from the gas station. “[The woman] stated she observed Ronald Martin fire the gun at the vehicle, striking the passenger door and striking [the victim],” read a court affidavit. “The vehicle then fled.”

Martin remains held in the Montgomery County Jail.
