Man indicted for murder in death of mother of 2

A Dayton man has been indicted for murder in the death of a Dayton mother of two.

Ronald S. Winton Jr. was indicted on one count of murder and one count of felonious assault in the death of Tasha R. Bonner, 38, on Feb. 1.

Bonner's body was found in the hallway outside her residence in the Wright View Apartments at 848 Riverview Terrace. Dayton police were dispatched to the apartment after witnesses reported a man dragging a female into an apartment building. When police arrived, they found Winton dragging Bonner into her apartment.

Her death was deemed suspicous, but it wasn't officially ruled a homicide until March 27, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. The coroner determined that her death was caused by strangulation.

Winton is scheduled to be arraigned later this week.
