The first incident was around 8:45 p.m. March 16, when the vandal used a silver Easton baseball bat to break a window before running to a nearby alley.

The second incident happened around 5 p.m. March 17. More windows were broken and a planter was damaged, according to a Dayton police report.
Anyone with information or who can identify the vandal is urged to call Dayton police at 937-333-COPS (2677) or Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP (7867).
Other Dayton houses of worship also have been vandalized in recent months.

On Feb. 28, a vandal used rocks or bricks to break at least three windows at the Al-Rahman Mosque, 26 Josie St., Dayton, and St. Anthony Catholic Church and school, 830 Bowen St., Dayton, was damaged three consecutive weeks in January. Surveillance video showed a vandal used a hammer to break out windows in one of the incidents.

No one has been arrested in any of the vandalism, and police have not confirmed whether the incidents are related.
