Meth lab found in Trenton; police looking for 2 suspects

Trenton police seek two suspects in connection with a search Saturday on Marcia Drive.

TRENTON — Trenton police plan to issue warrants Monday, June 14, for the arrests of two suspected methamphetamine manufacturers.

Police uncovered a working methamphetamine lab in a single-family residence in Trenton on Saturday morning, June 12. Trenton police forced entry to the home on Marcia Drive at 1:43 a.m. and located the remains of the working meth lab in the attic and garage areas of the home, according to a release from Trenton police.

Police Chief Timothy Traud said on Sunday he could not release the names of the two men who fled before police arrived, because they were still “uncharged suspects.” He said the warrants would be issued today and then he can reveal the men’s identities.

A female living in the home had called police saying she had been involved in a domestic dispute evolving from her discovery that her boyfriend and another male were actively cooking the drug in the family’s attic, police said.

Both males fled the area and are at large.

Trenton police and fire units released the scene for cleanup to the Drug Enforcement Administration at roughly 9 a.m. Saturday. The incident remains under investigation.
