Miamisburg man indicted in 2 Dollar General store robberies in same hour, 2 miles apart

A Miamisburg man accused of robbing two different Dollar General stores on the same night was indicted this week.

James Robert “Bobby” Wilson is charged with two counts each of aggravated robbery and robbery in connection to the April 18 armed robberies, all with repeat violent offender specifications for three prior convictions, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

He is accused in the robbery around 9:45 p.m. of Dollar General at 33 S. Alex Road in Miamisburg, and then between 10 and 15 minutes later the robbery at Dollar General at 25 W. Alex Bell in West Carrollton.

Wilson, 47, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Police said he was armed with a knife and was wearing camouflage clothing and a mask in both robberies. Detectives in both cities worked together to present the case to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, police said.

He is behind bars at the Montgomery County Jail, where he’s been held since his Aug. 5 arrest.
