Middletown police reports

Feb. 2

A 41-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 1:31 p.m. in the 4000 block of Tytus Avenue on suspicion of robbery.

Feb. 1

The theft of 12 boxes of flooring and $1,795 worth of power tools occurred between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 31 and 7:15 a.m. Feb. 1 from a work site in the 4500 block of Bonita Drive. Total value of items stolen estimated at $1,840.

A Middletown man said another man at 3 p.m. in the 2400 block of Saybrook Drive pushed him to the ground and then struck him. The case was referred to the prosecutor’s office.

A 14-year-old Middletown girl was charged with criminal damaging and unruly after punching a hole through a wall at 4:09 p.m. in a home in the 3700 block of Burbank Avenue.

A 39-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 4:33 p.m. in the 3000 block of Princeton Avenue on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Jan. 31

The theft of several Middletown Journal and Wall Street Journal newspapers had regularly occurred between Oct. 1 and Jan. 31 from a mailbox in the 1800 block of Galway Circle. The homeowner witnessed and recorded the theft on Jan. 31 and provided the recording to police.

Someone damaged the passenger-side mirror between 11:30 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. to a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Mary-Etta Street. A damage estimate was not reported and a brick was found next to the vehicle.

The theft of a wallet with $200, credit cards, a medical card and a Social Security card occurred between 7:13 and 8:13 p.m. in the 3600 block of Towne Boulevard.

A 17-year-old Middletown boy and 20-year-old Middletown man were arrested at 11:47 p.m. in the 1200 block of Woodside Boulevard on suspicion of burglary. Police say the two broke into a house at around 10 p.m., kicked in the door and drug a 26-year-old man out of the home.

Jan. 30

A 27-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 4:39 p.m. in the 3400 block of Towne Boulevard on suspicion of petty theft. The man attempted to steal a voltage multi-meter from Sears, 3457 Towne Blvd. It was reported to be valued at $215.

Jan. 24

The theft of a GPS unit, $130 worth of Wii games and a camera occurred between noon Nov. 24 and noon Jan. 24 from a home in the 2000 block of Queen Avenue. The cost estimate of the property is valued at $470.
