May 24

The theft of $50 worth of CDs and a GPS unit occurred before 7 a.m. from a vehicle parked in the 3500 block of Jewell Avenue. The total value of items stolen was reported to be $250.

The theft of a checkbook, 500 DVDs, a drill, three paintball guns and a television occurred before 7:10 p.m. from a home in the 200 block of Lylburn Road. Reported total value of the items was reported to be $870.

The theft of two suitcases with $500 worth of nursing books occurred before 7 p.m. from a home in the 1900 block of Hummingbird Circle.

May 25

The theft of a television occurred before 8:07 p.m. from a home in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

May 26

A 31-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 5:08 a.m. near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Yankee Road on suspicion of felonious assault.

May 27

The theft of $300 from a vehicle occurred before 12:30 a.m. parked in the first block of Franklin Street.

The theft of a gas grill occurred before 8:30 a.m. from an apartment patio in the 3600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard. The value of the grill is reported to be $100.

A 50-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 11:48 p.m. near the intersection of Lincoln Street and South Verity Parkway on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired (first offense within six years), a stop sign violation and failure to use a turn signal. A 48-year-old Middletown woman was with the 50-year-old woman and was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct (intoxication).

Two Middletown girls, ages 14 and 11, were charged on suspicion of petty theft for an incident at 8:37 p.m. at Kohl’s, 6825 Roosevelt Parkway. The girls allegedly took $156 worth of merchandise.

May 28

A 54-year-old Middletown woman was arrested at 2:45 a.m. near the intersection of Oxford State Road and South Breiel Boulevard on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired (second in six years), reasonable control, unsafe backing, seat belt violation and fleeing the scene of an accident.

A 19-year-old Middletown man was arrested at 10:55 a.m. in the 800 block of Mary-Etta Street on suspicion of criminal damaging and theft. He allegedly broke into a vehicle parked on Mary-Etta Street and stole a bag with miscellaneous types of documents.

Theft of a television, laptop and Xbox 360 occurred before 12:30 p.m. from a home in the 800 block of Auburn Street. The laptop and television were being rented.

The theft of $1,178 worth of tools occurred before 5:37 p.m. from a detached garage in the 1500 block of Pershing Avenue.

May 29

The theft of six pieces of jewelry, three pieces of clothing, 10 gold dollar coins and a Standard Eagle coin occurred before 3:40 p.m. from a home in the 700 block of Waite Street. The total value of the items stolen was not reported, but a dress, jacket, necklace and ring reportedly had a combined value of $400.
