The victim said the stolen blocks were worth $10 each and part of a remodeling project, according to Bay News 9. He caught Upright taking the blocks in the front yard.
Upright told deputies that she thought the blocks were “trash” and threatened to sue the owner because she hurt her back while loading them into her car.
Deputies took her to the local jail on charges of grand theft.
