No one hurt in Trotwood house fire

No one was hurt in a fire that Trotwood firefighters put out at a house in the first block of Devonshire Avenue.

Crews responded to the scene at 11:37 a.m. and encountered light smoke coming from the rear of the home and one person standing outside, according to Trotwood Fire Lt. Jeffrey Hilvers.

Hilvers said some clothing was on fire in the basement. It was put out quickly.

Trotwood police also responded to the scene.

Officials did not confirm radio traffic that indicated the fire was intentionally set.

Hilvers said the cause is under investigation.
