The driver, Michael W. Tucker, 45, was transported by ambulance to Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs in Lebanon. His injuries were not life-threatening, the patrol said.
Sgt. Paul Lezotte of the patrol’s Lebanon Post said the accident occurred at 7:34 p.m. when Tucker, traveling east on Brewer Road failed to negotiate a curve to the left. He then over-corrected and struck a mailbox before coming to rest in a creekbed, he said.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, Lezotte said. Neither man was wearing a seat belt, and charges are pending, according to the patrol.
