The judge set bond for Jones at $37,500.
Police said Jones has a history as a “violent offender” and he reportedly fought off a cashier and a customer before grabbing a large sum of money from the cash register during the robbery.
Jones was apprehended a short time later and police said the money was found in his pants pocket. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was hurt.
