He did not display a weapon, according to Springfield police.
The robber fled on foot out the west side of the building with an undetermined amount of cash.
Police used K-9s to try and track him, but were unsuccessful as of several hours after the robbery.
They were waiting on PNC’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati to release the branch’s surveillance video footage Friday afternoon.
