Lawrence was headed east on East Wapakoneta Street in the village of Waynesfield when the officer spotted him and tried to pull him over on state Route 67 and Moyer Road, just east of the village.
Lawrence did not stop and continued to head north, driving at speeds of 45 to 50 mph past Fairmount Road and then continued to his residence on Buckland Holden Road, police said.

He was arrested at his home without incident. He was booked into the Auglaize County Jail on suspicion of failing to comply with an order or signal of a police officer; two counts of driving under suspension; having a ficticious sticker; and driving on an expired registration.
The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office and Auglaize-Mercer Grand Lake Drug Task Force assisted at the scene.
