Police said Menke is their prime suspect in the case and that she is considered armed and dangerous.
On Thursday evening police responded to a home in the 200 block of Fulton Street and found two victims who had been shot. The victims were taken to the Van Wert County Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The victims' identities and conditions have not been released by police.
The shooting remains and active investigation and anyone who has information about Menke or her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Van Wert Police Department at 419-238-2462.
