Police still seeking two subjects in Waffle House robbery

Pair also suspected in theft at Middletown gas station last week.

WEST CHESTER TWP. — Police in West Chester Twp. are searching for two men they say robbed a Waffle House in West Chester on Tuesday, Oct. 5, and they may be linked to a gas station robbery in Middletown early Tuesday.

West Chester Twp. police said the two men with a shotgun entered the Waffle House on Kingsgate Way early Tuesday morning and demanded cash. Before leaving, the suspects forced employees and patrons into the restrooms and then fled on foo.

No injuries were reported, and a small amount of cash was taken. The men were gone when police arrived.

Police are looking for a white male between 25- and 30 years old who is around 5-feet-9-inches tall and 160 pounds. He has blue eyes, long blond hair and was wearing a flannel shirt and blue jeans.

The other subject is described as 6 feet tall and 180 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans and was armed with a shotgun.

Middletown police are working on a similar robbery that occurred about midnight when police responded to a robbery call at the BP Express drive-through at Grand Avenue and Breiel Boulevard, according to authorities.

Displaying a shotgun, a white male entered the drive-through demanding money before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash, according to police.
