Dayton police investigate MetroPCS store armed robbery

Police were called Wednesday night to an armed robbery at MetroPCS.

According to initial reports, a masked man had a gun around 7:50 p.m. when he ordered an employee into a back room at the cellphone store, 2001 N. Main St.

He got away with phones and cash.

There were no injuries reported.

On Monday, two area wireless stores were broken into in the early morning hours. It’s unknown if the break-ins are connected.
