The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confirms three people were shot Thursday night at the Creekside Townhomes.

Deputies and medics were called around 8:30 p.m. to a report that at least three people were shot in the leg  in the 5000 block of Northcutt Place in the former Northland Village Apartments in Harrison Twp.

Two gunshot victims were at the complex and were taken to a local hospital by the Harrison Twp. Fire Department. The third gunshot victim was taken by private vehicle to Miami Valley Hospital, according to a sheriff’s office release.

Sheriff’s deputies, Dayton and Butler Twp. police officers and Five Rivers MetroParks rangers initially responded to the apartments.

Deputies placed crime scene tape around one of the apartment buildings and were seen going in and out of one of the units.

The suspect was inside a white four-door sedan last seen headed toward Dixie Drive, according to initial reports.

The condition of the three gunshot victims is unknown, and deputies said the shootings are under investigation by the Special Investigations Unit.
