Croley surrendered on April 4, ending up at Miami Twp. police headquarters through an arrangement made by his family, according to reports.
Croley was the subject of a manhunt by three jurisdictions, which considered him armed and dangerous. Hours before his surrender, police descended on the Knights Inn hotel, on Byers Road, on April 3 looking for the 34-year-old suspect.
Miami Twp. police said Croley had family ties in Moraine and police developed a tip he was staying at the hotel, according to reports.
Officers from Miami Twp. and Miamisburg found drug paraphernalia, including needles, items believed to have been stolen during the burglaries and recovered a gold Saturn that Croley is believed to have stolen.
Police have said they believed Croley has a drug problem.
