Surveillance video released from Cashland break-in

Police in Dayton hope someone in the public will recognize three people who broke into the Cashland, 2933 Linden Avenue, early Saturday morning.

Police said a dark-colored pickup truck, with a yellow sticker on the tailgate and one on the rear-cab window, pulled up in front of the business at approximately 3:40 a.m.

Three people got out and one used a large rock or piece of concrete to smash the front window, according to the release. Two went inside and grabbed merchandise including tablets, vacuums and TVs. The third person waited outside and loaded the items into the truck, according to police.

The three burglars are described as thus: One has a medium build and was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, white shoes and white cloth over his face; the second has a medium build and was wearing a dark jacket and a Spiderman mask; The third has a slim build, dark sweatshirt, black shoes and a white cloth over his face, according to the report.
