A teen accused of making social media threats “to shoot up” Ponitz Career Technology Center was arrested this week.
The Dayton Police Department was made aware of the threats Tuesday. According to a police report, the threats were to “shoot up a school,” which was directed at Ponitz, 741 W. Washington St.
Police interviewed the juvenile suspect, who was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of making terroristic threats. A search of the juvenile’s home did not turn up any weapons, police said.
