According to a Vandalia police officer on scene, an initial investigation of the crash found that a Dodge Dart traveling south on South Brown School Road hit a Ford Fusion that was traveling north, and crashed in to the Dayton Power & Light pole.

The officer said that the driver of the Dart was intoxicated, and was arrested for OVI.

Nobody was injured in the crash, the officer said, although a medic responded to the scene to check on the drivers of both cars.
