Officers responded to the Walgreens, 542 Wayne Avenue, around 11:40 a.m.
Initial reports indicated the suspect was a white man wearing a black jacket with a blue and turquise shirt underneath. The suspect also was believed to have been wearing blue jeans, black tobbagan and black gloves, according to initial reports.
A gun was reportedly displayed during the robbery, according to initial dispatch reports.
