During a drug raid today in Dayton officers recovered heroin, cocaine and weapons.

Sgt. John Sullivan, of the Dayton police drug enforcement unit, said Sedreck Armstrong will be booked into Montgomery County Jail on weapons charges, with additional drug charges pending.

Sullivan said an investigation has been ongoing into an individual in the 900 block of Crestmore Avenue that was selling heroin to “fiends and users” in various parts of west Dayton.

Sullivan said during a drug search warrant today, officers found heroin, cocaine and three firearms. He said the guns are a violation of the law due to Armstrong’s criminal background.

“There’s also concern for us because he lives here with his 73-year-old grandmother,” Sullivan said. “She was definitely elderly, it would not surprise me if she did not know of the activity emanating from the residence here.”
