Woman accused of breaking into Miamisburg home, causing thousands in damage to be arraigned

A woman in her 70s is scheduled to be arraigned today in the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court after being accused of breaking into a Miamisburg house and causing thousands of dollars in damage, including setting fire to the stairs.

Pamela Kidwell, 71, of Miamisburg was indicted August 1 for felony vandalism and breaking and entering, and a misdemeanor arson charge by a Montgomery County grand jury.

Damages following the May 7 incident were between $7,500 and $150,000 to the house in the 200 block of South Second Street, according to her indictment.

Kidwell is not currently in custody.
