Woman found dead in apartment complex swimming pool

The victim, who police have not identified due to pending notification of her next of kin, was found unresponsive in the swimming pool by her roommate, police said.

The pool closes at 10 p.m., according to an official with the apartment complex, which is located on Old Orchard Lane in Deerfield Twp.

The victim was transported to Bethesda North Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office is scheduled to perform an autopsy on the woman today, but no information would be immediately available, according to Terry Daly, a spokesman with the coroner’s office.

Although the case remains under investigation, foul play is not suspected at this time, according to the sheriff’s office.
