The Darke County Humane Society traveled to Gatlinburg, Tenn. to help displaced pets after devastating wildfires continue to ravage the area this week.

The Darke County Humane Society posted on its Facebook page Thursday that staff arrived at the Sevier County Fairgrounds where an emergency facility has been set up for pets. They brought a truckload of medical supplies and animal food, according to the post, which were donated by numerous businesses and citizens in Darke County.
