Delta Airlines Announces New Nonstop Flights To Florida

It may be cold in the Miami Valley, but in Florida it is nice and warm. Now, just in time for winter in Ohio, there is a new nonstop flight from Dayton International Airport to Florida.

Because Dayton is not a major hub for any airline, a lot of times when you travel out of Dayton, you have to make a connection.

On Wednesday, Delta announced the first destination to Florida is Fort Lauderdale. The airline also announced a nonstop flight to Orlando so many families will be able to fly direct and see Mickey Mouse and Disney World.

Airport officials also announced that a record number of people are flying out of Dayton.
