A newly-improved access point to the Great Miami River is now open in Miamisburg.
This access point, which was dedicated Friday, is just north of the Linden Avenue bridge over the river.
The improvements to this location are designed to enhance convenience and safety for the public to encourage use of the river for recreation, including hand-powered boat entry, according to the city.
Utilizing the river for recreation is part of the city’s master plan that is guiding downtown revitalization.
