It is the second business this week to announce a move from the District Provisions market at 521 Wayne Ave. in the Dietz Block building, which was built in 1886. Crafted & Cured, a growler-fill craft beer and cured meats bar, said Tuesday it would leave the District Provisions building. Crafted & Cured’s owners will announce its new home on Thursday, July 23. Dayton building permits suggest the bar is headed to The Arcade in downtown Dayton.
Grist Provisions’ owners announced on Instagram the decision to move, saying in part: “This has been something we have been working on for what feels like an eternity. Like everyone, we have had to make some changes and pivot our game plan based on today’s circumstances. As of Friday, July 25th, we will no longer be open in our current location.”
“We will sadly be without a home for a short amount of time as our lease is up in our current space and we have some minor construction to do in our new space,” the Grist Provisions post said. “We have a lot of big plans for the new location and hope we can continue to grow and expand our business to do what we enjoy most which is providing everyone with the best experience we can.”
