Wright-Patterson AFB will be holding seminars as well as screenings to recognize NDEAM throughout October. All seminars and screenings will be held in the multi-purpose room in Bldg. 2, Area A.
• Wellness screening, Oct. 11, 8 a.m. to noon
Includes a free body composition test and cardiac risk profile available for Department of Defense civilians and active-duty military. Cardiac risk profile is free for civilians only. • Stress for Less Seminar, Oct. 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The seminar will cover various types of stress and the short and long term effects from stress. Three stress management techniques will be reviewed (focusing, calming, balanced living practices).
• Wounded Warrior Recovery Seminar, Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to noon
Provides support to wounded, ill and/or injured (WII) Airmen and their caregivers/families. This includes a range of benefits that includes employment and entitlements resources.
• Mobile Mammography, Oct. 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
