Hot, sunny today; Rain chances return tomorrow

Today will be hot and mostly sunny, with a high of around 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, although clouds will gradually continue to gather all day and overnight. Temperatures overnight will fall to around 68 degrees.

Tomorrow, although we will start out dry, starting around noon we will see a rising chance of showers and thunderstorms, peaking around 5 p.m. before falling slightly as the sun goes down. During the days temperatures will rise to around 87 degrees.

Tomorrow night, we will continue to see a steady chance of rain and storms as temperatures fall to around 68 degrees.

For Saturday, rain chances will rise slightly during the day before falling in the evening, for a chance of showers and storms all day. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy and hot, with a high near 86 degrees.

On Saturday night, the chances of rain and thunderstorms will gradually fall until around midnight, after which we will see only a slight chance. Temperatures will fall to around 67 degrees.
