That means hundreds of jobs are also moving.
A spokesman for AK said the move is purely a business decision.
Alan McCoy said the new location will allow them to upgrade their communications systems.
He said AK's largest steel plant will remain in Middletown.
Meanwhile, union officials met with company executives for about a half hour as contract talks continue.
