Law Enforcement Looking For Drunken Drivers This Weekend

Authorities in two counties are planning on two checkpoints this weekend in an effort to prevent alcohol hyphen related injuries and crashes.

The first will be in Sidney on State Route 47 Friday night from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Another checkpoint will be held in Logan County Saturday evening.

That location has not yet been announced.

The low-manpowered OVI checkpoints are funding by federal grant funds and are designed to help deter and intercept impaired drivers.
