AFS exchange students

AFS exchange students from around the world, along with their American host families, recently visited Fairborn’s Community Park for their official welcome picnic. This year’s 21 Dayton-area AFS students hail from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Turkey.

Having arrived in the United States in early August, the students will be living with their host families and attending the 2013-2014 school year at area high schools, including Bethel, Centerville, Fairborn, Kettering Fairmont, Miamisburg, Springboro, Sidney, Waynesville, and Yellow Springs. If you would like to learn more about the AFS program or are interested in hosting an AFS student in the future, please contact Marla Gamble at mjgceramic@aol.com.
