A Monday afternoon fire destroyed a trailer in a Huber Heights mobile home park, according to Fire Chief Mark Ashworth.

The fire was reported shortly after 4 p.m. in the Huber Mobile Home and RV Park on Keeler Street just off Kitdridge Road and near Bath Road. It resulted in what Ashworth called a total loss of the trailer.

One person, an adult, was treated in a medic unit at the scene.

In addition to Huber Heights firefighters, crews from New Carlisle and Bethel Twp. in Miami County responded to provide mutual aid.
